Why We matter

What Makes Our Process Different

Most photographers treat weddings as transactions. Book, shoot, deliver, move on!

We treat them as relationships. Here's what makes our process different.

You're not a number.

We only take on a limited number of weddings each year. This means we're never rushing, never stretched thin, never treating your day like just another job.

We lead with clarity, not pressure.

No hard sells. No urgency tactics. No ambiguity. You'll always know exactly what you're investing, what you're getting, and what to expect.

We adapt to you.

We don't have a rigid "way we do things." We adapt to your timeline, your culture, your family, your vision. You don't fit into our process—our process fits around you.

We stay calm.

Weddings are emotionally intense. Things go wrong. Timelines shift. Family tensions surface. We've seen it all, and we stay steady through it. You'll never feel our stress—only our presence.

We don't ghost you.

From inquiry to final delivery and beyond, we're responsive, present, and available. You'll never feel like you're chasing us down.

What working together actually looks like

The Process

We don't believe in transactional relationships. When you hire us, you're not just booking photographers. You're entering a partnership built on trust, clarity, and mutual respect.

From the first conversation to the moment your gallery arrives, here's what you can expect.

01 — You Reach Out

The beginning of a conversation

Tell us about your day.

The date, the location, the kind of wedding you're planning. Tell us what matters to you, what you're worried about, or what you're excited about.

We'll respond personally—no templated emails, no sales scripts. Just honest communication from two humans who want to understand your story.

If it feels like a potential fit, we'll move forward. If not, we'll tell you honestly and can point you toward photographers whose work might align better with your vision.

02 — We Have a Conversation

Getting to know each other

By the end, you'll know if this is a fit. So will we.

If we feel aligned after your inquiry, we'll schedule a video call or phone conversation. This isn't a sales pitch. It's a chance to see if we understand each other.

We'll ask about:

Your story: How you met, what brought you together, what this day means to you

→ Your vision: The feeling you want, the traditions you're honoring (or not), what matters most

→ Your family dynamics: Cultural considerations, relationships we should understand, moments we shouldn't miss

→ Your concerns: What you're worried about, what you need from us, how we can make this easier

You'll get a sense of who we are, how we work, and whether our approach feels right for you.

03 — We Send a Proposal

Clear, honest, tailored to you

Just clarity, so you can make the right decision for you.

If we're aligned, we'll send a proposal within 48 hours. It will include:

→ The investment (clear, specific, no hidden costs)

→ What's included (coverage hours, deliverables, timeline)

→ Travel costs (if applicable—always transparent)

→ Next steps to move forward

No pressure. No urgency tactics. No "limited time offers."

04 — You Book

Making it official

We commit to giving you our full attention.

If you're ready to move forward, we'll send a contract and invoice. Once both are signed and your retainer is received, your date is officially held.

We only take on a limited number of weddings each year, so once you're booked, you have our full attention and commitment.

05 — We Plan Together

Preparation and partnership

By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll feel confident that we understand your story, your family, and what matters most.

After you book, we'll send you a comprehensive planning guide to help you think through your timeline, your priorities, and your day.

As your wedding approaches, we'll schedule another call (or exchange emails, depending on your preference) to discuss:

→ Your detailed timeline

→ Family and wedding party dynamics

→ Cultural traditions or rituals we should be aware of

→ Any specific requests or concerns

→ Logistics (vendor coordination, backup plans, contingencies)

We'll also coordinate with your planner or coordinator (if you have one) to ensure everyone is aligned.

06 — Your Wedding Day

Presence, not performance

We arrive calm, prepared, and fully present. You'll barely notice us. But when you see your gallery, you'll realize we didn't miss a thing.

You won't have to manage us. You won't have to worry about whether we're "getting the shot." You won't feel like you're performing for the camera.

We'll guide you when you need it—help with timing, suggest light, and offer gentle direction for portraits. But we won't orchestrate your day. We won't make you repeat moments. We won't interrupt genuine emotion.

We trust that real moments are better than manufactured ones. Always.

What you'll notice:

→ We move quietly and intuitively

→ We anticipate moments before they happen

→ We respect cultural traditions and family dynamics

→ We stay calm when things go sideways (and they always do: weather, delays, family tensions)

→ We document your day as it unfolds, not as we think it should

07 — Your Gallery Arrives

The images you'll keep forever

When your gallery arrives, it will be complete, intentional, and ready to last a lifetime.

Within 6-12 weeks (depending on your package), your complete gallery will be ready.

What you'll receive:

→ Every meaningful moment from your day, unlimited images (we don't artificially cap the number)

→ Professionally edited to our standard (cohesive, intentional, true to the day)

→ High-resolution files, print-ready

→ Full print release—the images are yours to print, share, and preserve however you choose

→ An online gallery you can share with family and friends

→ Archival-quality files stored securely

We don't deliver "sneak peeks" or "previews" the next day. We believe in taking the time to edit your images properly, not rushing through them for social media.

08 — Beyond the Wedding

The relationship doesn't end

After your gallery is delivered, we're still here.

Have a question about printing? Need a recommendation for an album designer? Want to order prints or a custom book? Just want to say hi and share how life is going?

We don't disappear after the invoice is paid. The couples we work with become people we remember—and we hope you feel the same.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book us 6-12 months in advance, though we occasionally have availability closer to the date.

If your wedding is less than 6 months away and our calendar is open, we're happy to work with you. Reach out and we'll let you know.

Do you shoot alone or with a second photographer?

We always work as a team! Maznah and Najath, both photographing your day.

This isn't primary photographer + assistant. We're equals, working seamlessly together to ensure nothing is missed.

How many photos will we receive?

We don't artificially cap the number of images. You'll receive every meaningful moment from your day, typically 400-800+ images for a full wedding, depending on length and scope.

Quality matters more than quantity, but we don't believe in holding back images just to create scarcity.

What happens if you're sick or unable to shoot our wedding?

In the extremely unlikely event that both of us are unable to photograph your wedding (serious illness, emergency, etc.), we have a network of trusted photographers whose work and values align with ours.

We would arrange a replacement and ensure the transition is seamless. This has never happened, but we believe in transparency and preparedness.

What's your editing style?

Our editing is clean, timeless, and true to life. We enhance what's already there—light, color, emotion—without making you look like someone you're not.

No heavy filters. No artificial tones. No trendy presets that will feel dated in five years.

Your images will look like your day actually felt.

What if our wedding runs over the contracted hours?

We're not clock-watchers. If your reception is running long and meaningful moments are still happening, we'll stay.

That said, if your timeline significantly exceeds the contracted hours (e.g., a 10-hour package running 3+ hours over), we'll communicate with you on the day and, if needed, discuss additional coverage.

We're flexible and reasonable. We're here to serve your day, not rigidly enforce a contract.

Do you travel?

Yes!!! Travel is part of who we are. We work coast to coast across the U.S. and internationally.

Local travel (within 3 hours of Houston) is included in all packages. For destinations beyond that, we provide transparent travel cost breakdowns based on actual expenses (flights, accommodation, ground transport).

We don't charge "destination fees" or inflate pricing because your wedding is somewhere beautiful.

What if we don't like being in front of the camera?

Most of our couples feel this way. You're not alone.

We don't make you pose awkwardly or stare into the camera. We guide you into natural moments—walking, talking, laughing—and capture you as you are, not as you think you should be.

By the end of your day, most couples forget the camera is even there.

Can we request specific shots or moments?

Absolutely. During our planning call, we'll ask about family portraits, cultural traditions, or specific moments that matter to you.

We'll make sure those are documented. But we'll also trust our instincts to capture the moments you didn't know you needed.

Do you offer albums or prints?

We provide high-resolution digital files with full print rights. You can print and share however you choose.

We don't bundle albums into packages because not every couple wants one, and we don't believe in forcing products on people.

If you'd like recommendations for album designers, print labs, or framing services, we're happy to share our trusted partners.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes, if they feel meaningful to you.

We include optional engagement sessions with some packages, or they can be added to any wedding.

We don't require them as a "get to know each other" tactic. Our planning process already ensures we understand your story. But if you want images of this chapter of your life, we're here for it.
